Headed Out

The Hudson High School Marching band left for camp today.  It's the traditional start to marching season.  The entire band, staff and chaperone parents travel a few hours east to Allegheny College (I think) and drill, march and get in playing shape.  It also sounds like they have alot of fun doing all the other stuff you'd expect a bunch of high school kids away from home would be doing.  It's safe and totally cool of course, lots of adult supervision.  :-)

I was shooting some posed shots for the band earlier when a parent with a really good eye for a cool photo grabbed me and said I should check out the line of buses on the non-loading side.  No kids or other people, just the repeating pattern of a number of yellow buses on a sunny July morning.  I've got the line of buses in the works now, we'll see how that turns out.  In the mean time, here's a slightly different look on the whole scene.  I'm sure the bus driver wondered what in the world I was doing.  With a wide angle lens I have to get really, really close to the mirror...
