Three minutes to go before the end of the First Day of Spring. At least for me in eastern standard time (EST). I decided to celebrate the arrival of Spring by shooting some flower photos. I don't share much of these sorts of images, I usually shoot landscapes and other larger scenes but I really like flower photographs.
It's been a long, cold winter. (Not that I'm complaining, I sort of like wintry weather). But it's springtime or nearly so and that means it's time for some pretty flowers. I had no idea daffodils could smell so nice. They just opened in the last day or so and smell terrific.
