Finally, a place with the word Sun actually in the name. This is Sunny Lake Park in Aurora, a town northeast of Hudson. My boys and I fish here. It's a nice story - they drained the lake a few years ago to clean out invasive species (I think that's the root reason) then refilled and stocked with more desirable species including catfish and bass. For several years fishing was not allowed giving the population time to grow and get established. The fishing is so good we pay to fish here. Residents are free but for us it's worth it.
Today's photo is early one morning recently looking out onto their fishing dock into the rising sun. You can find the lake and some other details on the Aurora parks website.
