First Kickoff at Hudson Memorial Stadium

About a week ago was the first varsity football game at the new Hudson Memorial Stadium.  The local paper reported about 6500 people in attendance which is great for a high school football game.  You can read a bit more about the game here at the Hub Times website.   The stadium and surrounding improvements are the result of a successful community fundraising and school improvement project.

I shot this photo standing between two dads from the opposing team, the Kenston Bombers.  They were gracious enough to allow me to stand right between their video tripods close to the 50 yard line.  The shot is handheld, a three exposure HDR with a bit of additional post processing to clean up noise and some other artifacts.  I didn't spend much time of this one although I would have liked them to delay kick off another ten minutes to get the sun entirely behind that small cloud.  That would have been perfect.  :-)
