With The Sun At Your Back

One of my favorite tricks when photographing a nice landscape scene is turning around at various times and checking to see what's directly behind me.  Some of my favorite photos have come this way.  I don't know that this is a favorite yet but I do like it and wanted to share it.  This is from the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area in the same basic area I've posted photos from over the last few days.  It's a pretty beach and nice area but apparently the water in this area is treacherous - there are plenty of signs warning of dangerous rip currents.  This is morning time, you can see bits of the rising sun reflecting off the clouds far offshore just above the horizon.

I had to do a web search to find the name of the small red and yellow flowering plant in the foreground.  It's called Gaillardia which I don't know how to pronounce so we can use it's common name of Fire Wheel.
