Lucky Rainbow

We live near quite a few parks including the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  It's a few minutes from my home.  Just inside the east entrance to the park is a several mile trail that gets little traffic.  The way it's arranged you enter the trail and immediate drop down into a heavier forest and even though you're really not far from roads and a freeway you feel like you're a long way from anything.  When I'm alone on this trail and way back in there it sometimes feels a little spooky, actually.

After hiking for an hour or so in a light rain the skies opened to the west and covered the meadow near the parking lot with sunlight.  While I was watching the trees on the far side of the meadow light up, the rainbow you see below appeared.  If you look close you'll see a faint second rainbow.  I don't know that I've ever watched a rainbow form like this.  Usually they are just there and then get noticed.  This time I was watching the sky and literally saw it appear.
