Very early this morning the kids woke up and deployed their Father's Day present to me. They designed and colored a number of small brown lunch bags with different designs and used them to line the sidewalk in front of our house. Those along with some cutout hearts and arrows led to a display of a large Happy Father's Day sign in the front yard, ingeniously taped to rocks to keep it from blowing away.
What's touching is the time and amount of planning that went into this. I noticed little things like the stuff from around the garage put inside the bags to keep them from blowing away.
