The feeling I had when I shot this photo is no exception to that general sentiment. I was with a bunch of cool guys and we'd been skiing for a few days prior to driving back to Denver to hop a flight home. Knowing we had some extra time to kill we decided to avoid I-70 as much as possible and drive across the Loveland Pass just past Arapahoe Basin Ski area. Being Colorado, it was just good. The Continental Divide is behind me a few hundred yards, I think, and the camera is this shot is facing west toward A-Basin. The sky was clear, the sun was bright and the view was amazing. And I didn't want to leave.
