Good Morning Marina

Here's a morning photo from Santa Barbara again.  The marina is a decent walk from the hotel closer to downtown but what else is a eastern time zone guy going to do early on a west coast morning?  I pack a small travel tripod so I grabbed that, my phone and headphones and fired up Pandora and off I went.  About a mile and a half later I was in place and ready to go when the sun came up over the hills off in the distance.

The light coming back from the boats in the foreground is a combination of some from the sunrise and some of the harbor lights.  Pretty long exposure, obviously, and some HDR mixed in to get the skies to look this way.  Anyway, hope you like it.  I sure did enjoy walking over and shooting it.

Oh, in case you are wondering I listen to John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot and other 70's folk music while wandering around and shooting photos.  I know, I know, makes me a nerd or something.  I just can't help it.  :-)
